 This are fonts I will most like be going for on my cover page and contents page. Most of the fonts are sans serif which I am planning to go for as I think it would attract more of my target audience.

To make my focus group questioners balanced i asked different genders of different ages on what they think about magazines and the music industry as a whole.

The artist profile gives me an idea on how I want to represent my model.

  My cover page and contents page are unique as they are simple but will have more content keeping them balanced. After getting feedback I have decided I will add more quotes & features on my cover page. Both pages have the main image on a side so that they can be the main focus. i took inspiration for my cover page from the billboard magazine featuring Beyonce as i felt it was unique because i liked the colour schemes on it and the style of the magazine because it was very clear. For my contents page, i took inspiration from a magazine content page including Ariana Grande as i really liked the style of her magazine and how all the content and cover page is on the side and not blocking her.

These are the shot types I'm aiming to take most. The close up shots ( shot1,3 and 6 ) are most likely to be on my cover page where as the long shots ( shots 2,4&5) are more likely going to be on my contents page. This is because the layout of my contents page is simple and to make it look aesthetic I would like to include more of my model. However on my cover page, there will already be a lot of writing and so I want less of the model but a close up so it looks powerful.

These are cover pages and contents page that were most appealing to me and gave  me an idea on what I would like to do for my flat plan. I like them both because they are very neat and fits with my theme of dark and full colours. It also has a full focus on the main image.

This is a mood-board of cover pages and contents pages as shown above. I have chosen very dull and dark coloured background images because i feel like they have a contrast with the main image. The magazines look simple as they don't have much bright colours but they look aesthetic and more clear to read.

I believe my reader profile age group to be between 14 - 18 years as I feel like that's the audience that would be most attracted to pop and R&B music genres and are more interested in magazines than others as they tend to listen to more music to keep them at peace while working with school work.

I asked questions to different age groups 14-18 and different genders on they genre of music they like so that i can understand more for my reader profile.This helped me know what people are more interested in and what they think of the music industry.

My genre is R&B and pop aimed towards 14-18 year olds. My magazine name i will be going for will be 'feels' and the meaning behind this is because my colour scheme and style of the magazine cover page will be dull coloured and connotes deep feelings as some R&B and Pop music show these feelings through their songs.

This is my brief. It shows my initial ideas for what i would like to do for my magazine cover and contents page. My idea is to go for a dark and dull colour scheme so my main image has a contrast with it and stands out. I will be going for R&B and Pop because its the kind of music I have interest in. My magazine will be simple and clear so that it can be more eye catching and will have less texts as that's what in my opinion would be less attracting as it would look more unclear
